So sad to lose another of our fine young men. You will be missed by all.

I still can't believe Chris is gone! We had talked around the reunion time, and had a great time catching up and sharing memories of CHS! He was so looking forward to being a grandfather!! At Churchill, he was my best guy friend... He helped me so much with my mentally ill sister; taught me how to country western dance; carried my books to classes when I fell through the window and had my arm in a cast for 8 weeks; I carried his books when he had knee surgery. I was never in the "in crowd," I just liked everybody and was a BQ!! Lol. (Band queer, which back then was not an offensive word)! I knew his mom, Freddie, from Bible Studies we did together. He truly was one of the good guys, and he was such an amazing friend to me; I cherish the time we were friends! We were never more than friends; I was a nerd and not popular like he was, but he was such a true friend to me anyway!!  I know Chris knew Jesus Christ  as his Savior and is in heaven with Him, and that gives me great comfort! I pray it gives comfort to Debbee, Granger, Tyler, and Parker, as well! We will meet again, dear friend! Thank you for being my friend!!! You are the best!

i was so sad to hear of Chris's untimely death. i lived with Chris and his family during my year as exchange student to WCHS from 1969 - 1970.

Chris and I were 'brothers' for this year - i have so many good memories of him and his family, wish we could have been closer and stayed connected after my exchange year.

He was a good guy!!
