So sad that you had to leave this world just as we are all about to retire from working and raising our families..  Bless you Ken.  It sounds like you lived a full, rich life.

I remember when I first started to play bass guitar, Ken hired me to play with his band at one of the venues at HemisFair when it was running in 1968.  It might have been my very first paid gig on bass.  I think we all made something like fifteen dollars apiece to play three 45- minute sets, which seemed like a lot of money at the time.  Ken was in his glory.  I'll never forget looking over at him and noticing the expression on his face as he was playing.  He was half scared to death and half really loving the experience.  He was a really nice guy.  Sorry to hear of his passing.
