Sorry to hear covid-19 has affected the planned reunion.
I am still in Stockport, UK, having moved here in 1986 because my husband's research took him to the University of Manchester. Had plans to stay for 3 years, and here we still are. In the rain, the Brexit, panic buying of loo roll, etc. Current excitement: apparently there is now sink hole on my street and they are working to repair it.
Some really good cast parties and I think I was one of those people who left early, lacking the stamina to pull the all-nighters.

I am very sorry that I didn't get organised to come to the reunion happening this weekend. It looks like a marvellous event with lots of chances to meet and catch up. Have a great time! Wish I was there!

Back in June, on a typical cloudy UK, a friend I worked with who also went to a WCHS (in Potomac), visited the village of Churchill in the UK.

Just catching with the chatter - the reunion seems like a huge success from what I can make out from here...pictures look fab and the events sound super and the team effort to make it happen show the Charger spirit still abounds. Hope to make it for the big 5-0. Meanwhile in the UK the Rugby World Cup still can't top that recent 7th inning in Texas.

Hello, I hope all who can possibly make it will go along to the reunion. I can't make it this year - and I am sure you will have better weather than what I will have here in the UK. However, but I did see some of the class of '70 in an impromptu mini-reunion back in July. I can report that, for me at least, it is totally delightful to catch up with people I walked the halls with 45 years ago! Joining in was Carolyn Sueltenfuss McLerran, Dan Young, Mary Allyn Watson, Nancy Bryant, and Sylvia Maldonado Colburn (who posted something already, I am just catching up here). We met up at the Blanco BBQ, appropriately close to Churchill and on the doorstep of the old Roaring 20's. Anyway, to those who can make the reunion this year, enjoy!

Hi, I would love to meet up with anyone who might have the time and inclination to do the same on Monday 13 July 2015, at the Blanco BBQ, 13259 Blanco Road (phone 210-251-2602)
starting at 4:30 pm and probably going on till the places closes (ok, that's 9 pm!)
I appreciate this is short notice, but it would be great if you could fit it into your schedule.
Best wishes

Hello, this is a bit out of the blue, but I will be in SA in July and was wondering if anyone would like to meet up Monday evening 13 July? (I am staying in the Drury Inn near 1604 and 281 so if anyone has any suggestions of where be a good place, that would be great - I suppose there is always the hotel bar...?) It doesn't look like I will be able to make the reunion in October but perhaps a little miniature precursor? X Maria
My strongest memory of Ronnie was him as a writer - that story which I remember having the title 'US 47,' especiatly that last stirring line where the narrator, contemplating a future at college and suburbia, decided to leave the freeway and explore the eponymous highway: 'looked into the vibrating rear-view mirror, merged into the right lane, and took the exit.' Fantastic talent with a great heart and so lucky we were to share it.
Best wishes for a Festive Season - last night of Hanukkah, Christmas Day-2 and onwards to 2015 from Merrie Old England, where the rain doth fall.
Have a good festive season! .
