Paul Vann

Spent time after graduating in Colorado, then got drafted during Vietnam War and spent two years in Army as Military Police (go figure) and as a Engineer. Got out of Army and went back to Colorado and furthered my degree in Engineering. Went to work with the Government and traveled all over the world working with U.S. Embassy's and foreign governments. Lived in Saudi Arabia, Thailand and traveled throughout Europe and the Far East. Then lived in San Jose and San Francisco, Ca. on special assignments Now live in Akron, Ohio and I am pretty much retired but do Security Consulting and Special Physical Protections for VIP's and contract work for Secret Service and Marshalls Service.

My ROTC background allowed me to attain the rank of Sargent almost immediately when I went in the Army. So although it wasn't popular back then I was the richer for it.
