During my time after Churchill, I have held a variety of positions. When my husband almost died I returned to school and received my degree in early childhood education and elementary education. I worked for SAISD for two years and Keystone School for 11 years. While I Keystone I returned to school for my Masters in Educational Administration. I moved to NISD and taught second, kinder, & fifth grades. I also returned to school and received my Doctorate in Educational Administration and another Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: Technology in Education. I guess you might say I am hooked. I am one of the featured people in Who's Who in Education.
I like to go to the lake and research family history. I moved back into my childhood home to take care of my parents. My mother recently passed away so moved to Okinawa, Japan where I served for five years as the Campus Chair for Graduate School of Education with learning centers in Okinawa, mainland Japan, South Korea, and Guam. My husband went with me and we had a great time. We have been married for 39 years.
I have two children one a teacher and one who right now is a stay at home mom. I have two step-grandchildren and my latest edition Dallas Cole born December 1, 2010. We are now living at Canyon Lake and can find us most of the time out on the boat "The Good Doc."
I am still teaching online for the University and working full time for for Comal ISD as the ISS Facilitator at Smithson Valley High School.
I enjoy eating lunch with fellow 1970 graduates (some I was close to in high school and some I have now formed relationships with).
I guess my best memory was driving into the parking lot during rush hour with an eight foot tree dragging out of the back for "Dark of the Moon." :)

Happy Birthday Sister from another family. Have a great day and light a fire for me.
We had a blast growing up. Taught me to jump from the roof after we crawled out her second-story bedroom window and then climbed back in using the tree. Guess we papered some houses in the day. Great sleepovers at her house. Will miss her
Happy Birthday fellow traveler
Jerry was an extra special person. So glad that I had him cross my path. He will be missed.
